Attack of the Hand

For several weeks we thought, wow, it's happened, our sweet baby sleeps through the night!  And then, Squirms decided that she likes her mom better with puffy, swollen eyes.

Last night we had a slumber party around 3 am.  Squirmy thought that since Auntie C was visiting, she would want to hang out all night.  

A new phenomenon has also helped bring about no more sleeping through the night:  The Attack of the Hand.

It seems out of her control - her hand just creeps up, through the swaddle, and attacks her mouth and face while she is sleeping.

The expression on her face most times tells us that she is confused and doesn't understand why this is happening....that, and the middle of the night crying that occurs when the hand appears and wakes her up....

Sometimes when she is awake she fights back.
