Weekend Visit to the Season Fall

Let me start by explaining why we LOVE traveling between September and November.  Central Florida doesn't have the season fall - no crisp Friday night high school football games, hillsides cascading with gold, brown, and dark orange, nor riding in the car with the windows down (while wearing a sweater).
Of course, without fall, we will probably visit the beach this weekend so my handsome husband can surf, but we were discussing our love of fall....

We had a great visit to Alabama this weekend, because of the season change beginning up there, but most importantly because of the family and friends we were able to spend time with (I'm sorry if anyone with an english degree reads this, I end a lot of sentences with prepositions).  Some of my favorite photos from our visit:

I'm a little surprised that R got this close to a cat.  I believe this guy is Buddy.

Some of my favorite ladies:  Grandma, Aunt K, and Great-Aunt M.  This may sound odd but I think they might be on Facebook while everyone is watching the game :).
