Still in New Jersey

So I don't usually do this - but I made a bet. With a coworker. Over a college football game. Even crazier, over an Auburn football game. Short story made shorter....Auburn beat Florida (yes, of course I didn't make a bet on the LSU game!) so my coworker is supposed to implement a new tool for our project - be glad I shortened that because the wager had to do with work stuff not fun stuff - and of course being the helpful employee that I am, I have been sending him reminders while away from the office. Today, after a serious work related reply email, I got this in response: btw...tonight's the pool party at Harrahs resort with DJ Vito... You should go!
I laughed out loud. Really, not just the instant message acronym, but loud laugh while sitting alone in my hotel room. I think the shock factor of seeing that when I opened my email was what made it so great.

Also, this past Sunday was my beautiful sister-in-law's birthday. I meant to post a picture or a poem (be glad I didn't do that) about how cool she is, but since I am my mother's daughter, I'm late of course. Also, I don't think I can post words next to pictures using this app....regardless, happy birthday to C! I'm looking forward to getting older and sharing hair coloring tips (when we make it that far, not saying you're that old yet ;) )

Lastly, since this post has no cohesive flow nor topic, I thought I would just add some pictures of some faces I miss very much right now....perhaps pictures that demonstrate how funny R can be after a long work day....just imagine being tired and stressed, getting home and putting on comfy clothes, walking out to be greeted by these crazy creatures - enjoy, and sorry for the red eyes:
Okay....it is now twenty minutes and three tries later....and since I'm not at work I've decided not to troubleshoot the problem and just give up - sorry, no adorable pictures tonight.
