Updates

We now have had two meetings with our birth mom. After each meeting, I feel safe to do things like buy a crib or a diaper caddy. Today we bought an outfit for him to wear home.

We should learn a possible hospital due date next week. Our birth mom is almost 38 weeks! Yes, that means baby boy should arrive within the next two weeks.

We've been cleaning and doing yard work this weekend. For some reason this makes me feel more prepared. Although, I have decided that the next time I have to clean the shower, we are just going to move instead. Moving would be easier.

Our birth mom has made a hospital plan and I'm very excited that she wants me to be present during delivery. I'm honored that she wants me there and looking forward to meeting baby boy - as long as I don't pass out. I hope I will be a comfort to her.
