1. Philadelphia doesn't heat the airport.
2. I'm okay with living in central Florida.
Thankfully U.S. Airways gave me a seat on a late flight from Philadelphia to Orlando since my flight into Philadelphia had been delayed due to mechanical problems because the lady I sat next to on the plane who was wearing thermal wear under her jeans and North Face coat said the news reported a person would get hypothermia within two minutes in this weather if not properly protected and I figured that would have been me, hailing a cab to find the Quality Inn and the driver would actually have to take me to the hospital.
Here is one of those Sea Lions....or Seals.....that we were waiting on. Seal, definitely a seal.

"Sisters....Sisters...." Just imagine us in blue dresses with feathers. I call being Rosemary. Wait. I want to dance like the other one. I call that one.
West Coast Sunset. We happened to choose a dog friendly beach.
L and her bare feet. This sand was pretty cool - it came off your feet more like dust than sand.

We did it. And it was Cold.
L and I did have an amazing time at the Rose Bowl I think that is what I'm supposed to call the facility even if we weren't watching The Rose Bowl. We stumbled upon parking very close to the stadium, walked by the BCS tailgate and discovered Jake Owen* would be playing in 20 minutes, left the Jake Owen set just in time to accidentally be on the front row of Tiger Walk, stood in line to get into the stadium by Jep I think that's how you spell his name? and his wife from the show Duck Dynasty, and got to see H and her friend right now let's call him - oh wait I guess I shouldn't post what I actually call him in jest as his nickname - we'll just stick with H's friend.
Also, to help boost our self-esteem, two very inebriated Auburn guys sitting in front of L and I said we were pretty and wanted us to decide which of them had the better beard.
I'm sorry I don't have any pictures from the Rose Bowl - it's a gorgeous setting - but my phone was our GPS and couldn't handle being a phone/camera/GPS for the entire day. L has pictures and posted some on Facebook.
*I can't post more about this because it wouldn't be Christ-like or lady-like, or respectful of my wonderful husband who sent me to California, to write details about seeing Jake Owen.
