I complain a lot about the weather here. But not today. It is beautiful outside. I miss wearing boots and scarves, but thoroughly enjoyed jogging in 70 degree weather with a breeze and sunshine.

We are having a lovely weekend - full of productive tasks like going to the post office, flu shots, and yard work. We have been so productive that we decided to take a trip downtown this afternoon to stroll, shop, and eat homemade ice cream. I love weekends when no major events are planned.

Squirms has also been enjoying her toys from Christmas. One of her favorites is a vanity from her second cousin. I was a bit worried about her already having a vanity and learning words like lipstick; but it's really quite fun. She loves the comb - poor bald girl - and the powder puff.  

Her keys play music too.

She has learned on each toy what to push or spin to make it play music.....over and over and over. And over. Her awake time is pretty much just one big dance party. She likes to move, and giggles when she catches a glimpse of herself dancing in the vanity mirror. Then, of course, she licks the mirror. 

I can't count how many times a day I laugh out loud at something she is doing. R and I both just love to sit and watch her play - her expressions, her attempts at finding toys under the dresser, batting the soccer ball with her hands flailing. And our parents and sisters seem to get just as much joy watching her on facetime.
