A Walk in the Woods

Yesterday I ate a chicken biscuit and hash browns from Chick-fil-a, a peppermint chocolate sundae from Hagan Daas, and a pepperoni pretzel from Auntie Anne's.
Fail.

Thankfully, I can add pictures again. And might have a domain name now. We'll get to that later. These pictures are from R's phone on our walk in dad's "backyard". Yes, it was as beautiful, and normal looking as it seems. LOVE fall.

I especially enjoyed this because H wore our old high school basketball team sweats and I wore one of mom's old sweatshirts plus a pair of socks I found in her bottom drawer - if you knew my mom and how many times she grilled us for losing all of her socks as teenagers, you'd understand how lovely it was to steal socks from her again. I mean, for the first time, ever. All that other stuff was definitely H and L.

At some point in this lovely walk, after the second, not third, time dad said let's take this side trail, my father told us he likes to walk this route with 15 lb weights. And because I'm not at all competitive like my father, I replied I'm walking this right now with 15 lb weights. On my hips.
