Ten Things

1. We had visitors for R's birthday earlier this month! We were thrilled to have Papa, Mamé, Auntie C, and TPIII in town for the weekend. The men went skeet shooting, the ladies spent time flower-girl dress shopping, and we all enjoyed lots of pie.

2. Squirms starts preschool tomorrow. Tomorrow.

3. The Great is cutting more teeth and has a big boy car seat on order! He is on his way to 11 months old - let the birthday party planning begin, or continue, because you know I've been looking for the perfect invitations for several weeks already.

4. R has an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon/specialist this week. If you've been following his adventures with neck problems then you'll be relieved to know we are not expecting any surgery, but hopefully a plan to help with relief and management going forward.

5. His parents might have given him a lotion called Two Old Goats for his birthday.

6. His parents also gave him an unexpected gift that shocked and humbled us.

7. We are traveling soon for C's first bridal shower! Very exciting!

8. R introduced Squirms to Finding Nemo this week. She was VERY concerned about finding the boat that took Nemo.

She really wanted the Great to sit in the boat with her.

9. Fall semester violin lessons begin this week.

Why aren't you pushing us? The boat needs to go fast.

10. Milestone: the angel children had their first fight over a toy while in the jogging stroller. It made me think of my sisters.....ah, memories.
